Lenten Day of Recollection
Dear La Salle Alumni and Family,
We have three main thrusts for my term … faith, health and wealth!
Faith is first and foremost. Do we have total blind Faith in God? Remember the Indiana Jones movie? The invisible bridge? It is all about knowing that He will always be there for us!
I’m glad to share with you an opportunity to look inside ourselves and renew our personal relationship with God.
In preparation for the Lenten season we offer a Lenten Day of Recollection.
The program will be facilitated by Fr. Jerome Magat. He is the Parochial Vicar of the Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Arlington Va. Fr. Magat studied in La Salle Greenhills.
For now this is only open for all men. There is a different dynamic to a retreat when given to a mixed group. If successful, we can create one for women at another time.
Considering the very busy schedules of the folks, we limited this to a little more than half a day. We hope this will make it easier for most of us to spend quality time with God!
When: Saturday Feb 16, 2008 (alternate date Feb 23, 2008)
Where: Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 830 South 23rd St Arlington, VA 22202
Time: Starts with a Mass at 9:00AM followed by a Rosary and continues with the retreat proper. Ends at 2:00
Cost: We estimate the cost to be at $25-$30 each depending on number of attendees. Money collected will go 100% to Our Lady of Lourdes Parish. Cost does not include lunch and participants can discuss options. (I suggest order pizza!).

Folks, we need a good indication on the number of people who can attend.
Ideally we would like to have 10-15 participants. Anything less than 10 we might have to cancel.
