A quick La Salle Alumni Meeting - Tomorrow evening!
Hi Folks,
There are a few items we need to discuss. We will need a few thinking heads to work together and discuss our options.
Lots of fun stuff we need to complete and also a few things we want to make sure we are represented.
Let us do a quick meeting tomorrow:
When: Thusday April 23, 2008
Time: 6:30 Dinner/7:00 Meeting
Where: Joey Veilila’s Residence, 5507 Butterworth Ct, Alexandria, VA 22315 | Tel no: 703 922 8717
Food: Mayette’s special spaghetti will be served.
I will also bring some Chicken wings.
There should be enough for everyone .. but you need to let me know if you are able to make it.
Everyone is encouraged to attend. We are also interested in meeting the new folks. Please drop by.
Other items:
Our summer picnic is scheduled for July 26 at Burke Lake Shelter B. There is a Volleyball court, a good size lake, a bike/jog/walk/crawl path around the lake, freesbee golf, mini train ride, merry go around, minigolf, driving range, 9 hole par 3 golf course. Lots of stuff you can do.
May 24 is our Shenandoah Camping trip. Please plan to attend the May 12 Safety seminar. Details to follow.
June 1 is the Philippine Festival/Fair in Pennsylvania Avenue. We will join the parade. I believe there is a Banner decorating contest. We need creative juices for this one.
June 7 is the Gala Ball. If you are able to join us tomorrow I will give you a discount for the dinner tickets!
May 17, Mabuhay Inc is inviting us to join their Golf Tournament. They are requesting if we can put together a foursome for them. Contact Jim Cardano at 301-352-5126 if interested.
April 27, Gaithersburg Rotary Club is inviting us to attend their 1st Annual Spring Dinner Dance. I heard it includes a 7 course meal and only for $30! Please contact John Cabrera at 240-401-9138.
Also other events are scheduled for June relating to the Indpendence day celebrations! Please visit www.pafc-inc.org.
We also are trying to get Brother Bernard Oca to visit us when he visits NY during May.
We are also being asked if we are available to meet with Ayala Foundation regarding our Operation Alkansiya. They will be in the area during the first few days in May.
