SAVE the Date! Annual PICNIC and Election of new officers!
July 26 from 10:00am til dark! We have reserved Shelter B in Burke Lake Park. Bring family with you. Lots of fun things to do in the park for kids and those who do not look like kids anymore!

We will provide some food, drinks and utensils but it will be best if everyone brings a dish to share. Please coordinate your food choices with Eileen Nadal (301)580-7103 or Eileen_nadal@yahoo.com.
At 11:00 we start with kids activities. A group leaves the shelter and proceeds to the Carousel($1.50) and Mini Train($2) ride area. Then return to shelter for lunch and more games. Adrienne Zalamea volunteered to help with the kids games!
Teens and adults can proceed to the mini golf area. The more the better. We might get a group rate discount if enough players participate. We will tally the results and the winner(s) will get a prize.
Adults will have some fun too! Joey Velilla will ‘bank’ a Black Jack table. And Francis Santayana will deal for a Poker table. These are intended as tutorial sessions but if it not, please be very discrete. We need an extra set of chips for this. Please let us know if you can bring one.
After lunch is served, we will proceed with the introduction of all members. Members/Guests who own their own businesses are encouraged to share a few words (5 minutes only) and distribute some materials to share. Feel free to setup appointments after the picnic but no selling during the picnic please.
After the intro, we will proceed with the election of the next board of officers. Prospy Hernandez will be our COMELEC chairman. Lots of leadership opportunities to look forward to. Lots of fun trips to look forward to!
After elections, feel free to use the park facilities. There is a huge fishing lake and a walk/jog/bike path around it. There is also a Freesbee golf area. There are Sand volleyball pits you can use too.
