Happy Hour Social Mixer/Networking
Hello All –
You’re all still in my bcc list, so you may not have received the email below (for some of you, your spouses may have).
We will fix this when I turnover the list to our new secretary on our first meeting on Sunday, so that you are included in the yahoo groups.

Dear “Dugong Berde’s ,”
Now that Madam President, Eileen Nadal , has given me the go signal to establish our monthly social mixer/networking, we would like to get suggestions from our group.
We were thinking about hosting it every other month in Washington, DC and every other month in Maryland preferably close to a metro station so we all do not have to deal with parking.
As an example, La Tasca in Washington, DC is 2 blocks from the Chinatown metro and during Happy Hour most of their drinks are $3 and appetizers are $6.
We might be able to talk to the Managing Partner and “entice” him to donate some of the profits to LSPAA.
If some of you know of any other restaurants or bars we could meet, I will be more than happy to do the “quality control” 
We would like to start this event somewhere in the 3rd week of August and continue this on a monthly basis.
This will also be a good opportunity to bring prospective new members to get to meet the members and we can do our recruiting on a monthly basis.
Picture this, if every member in or egroup will only recruit 1 new member a year, we will double our size on a yearly basis !
Please email me suggestions and comments regarding this matter so we can push forward in this endeavor.
